For each of your profile information, MyCantos allows you to set a privacy setting. MyCantos is unique in a way that it allows you to set different settings for different user.

For example, you can chose to have Member A see your Age on your profile, while Member B may not. You may still want member C to not know which college you go to and so on ..on MyCantos you can set these options on a click of the mouse.

You may chose to display your pictures either to all the members, or to members that are in your friend list, or to only a few member.

Same thing is true for every other information on your profile, you can set view options for friends, community, or individuals. Messages You again have complete control over who can send you what kind of messages including SMS.
